DT icon behaviour on Ubuntu 20.04 ?

I recently updated to Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS and all went well but with one small niggle.
I'm using the Gnome 3.36.3 DT and have several DT icons to launch a folder, several files, along with Moneydance.
Instead of simply being hilighted when you click on any of them, they remain on until you click somewhere on the DT. This doesn't seem right to me. It's not a big deal but if possible I'd prefer to revert to the previous behaviour.
Are there any pointers, as to what might be wrong? Thanks.
