Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list and start against the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jackson, 23, contracted the virus in late November and missed Wednesday's rescheduled game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as a result.

The Ravens continue to return to normalcy following a COVID-19 outbreak that at one point saw 20 players on the reserve list. The club confirmed Saturday that not all personnel followed health protocols correctly and that at least four unique strains of the virus traveled through the team facility.

Baltimore added running back Mark Ingram and defensive end Calais Campbell to the active roster Saturday. Key players J.K. Dobbins, Pernell McPhee, Patrick Mekari, and Matt Skura were also among those recently removed from the COVID-19 list.

The team still has a handful of contributors on the list, including wide receiver Willie Snead and tight end Mark Andrews. Andrews is not expected to play Tuesday, according to Schefter.

The 6-5 Ravens have lost three straight games. They were initially scheduled to face Dallas this past Thursday before the outbreak forced the league to move their contest against the Steelers.
