Hello LQ — from a fellow tech evangelist

Greetings! I'm a full-stack developer with a background in CompSci and specialising in backend development. My "weapon of choice" is JavaScript, but I'm well versed in C, C++ & Python.
So, I'm on here because I'm one of the developers at Ultraworking and I led up shipping a Linux version. I've learned a ton from people here and am happy to contribute back however I can.
On the one hand, yeah we're a close-sourced blah-blah-blah capitalist company. On the other hand, I think we're quite pro-social and cool. Actually our CEO probably has a slight anarchist bent to him so I think as we grow from a tiny team to a bigger one we'll be increasingly making open source contributions.
Anyway, we make peak performance software and it's a lot of fun. I suggested and led up our Linux build because we have just a fundamental love of people using the real hardcore stuff.
