Slackware UEFI / elilo questions.

I forgot to post that I am using -current
So I finally finished my new ryzen 5900x build yesterday, minus the ram and video card since they are sold out. But those can wait. Since the new system has nvme drives I knew I was going to have to use uefi bios. I read the necessary instructions and got elilo up and running. However I obviously did not get Windows 10 as a boot option so I quickly installed rEFInd to get dual boot. That is working for now, but I am going to spend the next few days deep diving into uefi boot so I can get it down to basically muscle memory like I've done with lilo all these years. Just a few quick questions for you guys.
1) With nividia cards once you blacklist the nouveau module you will no longer have KMS/fbdev to give you higher console resolutions. Back in the lilo days you could simply use vga=ask or set it to what ever your target resolution you want that your video card supported, does elilo have this ability. I could not find any information on it?
2) If I wanted to skip rEFInd and just use elilo, could you link me a guide on how to add a Windows partition to it so I can dual boot.
3) In your guys opinion is switching to Grub a better option in the modern uefi days, and if you think so, can you link me a guide to that?
Thanks.
