The Baltimore Ravens got their season back on track with a win Tuesday over the Dallas Cowboys thanks to the impressive return of reigning MVP Lamar Jackson.

The star quarterback racked up 201 total yards and three touchdowns in the 34-17 victory after missing last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers following a positive COVID-19 test.

"I wouldn't wish that on anybody, though. It's not good to have," Jackson said of contracting the virus, according to Ryan Mink of the team's official website.

"It felt like I didn't play for a whole season. I was like, 'It feels good to be back with my guys.' Even in practice, walking into the locker room and stuff, I was like, 'Man, I couldn't wait to see you, your faces.' It was like two weeks that I didn't see those guys. I couldn't wait to get out there and perform for those guys, because I know how much it would mean for us to win games."

Jackson said he's feeling well after experiencing flu-like symptoms, though he still can't taste or smell. The Ravens suffered a widespread COVID-19 outbreak that forced the NFL to postpone their game against Pittsburgh three times.

Baltimore's victory over Dallas pushed the AFC North team to 7-5 and ended its three-game losing streak.

The Ravens will need Jackson with a vital divisional showdown against the 9-3 Cleveland Browns set for Monday night.
