KDE5 and memory usage

I'm happily running KDE5 on Slackware64-current on my T410 Thinkpad, and my Dell 980 desktops. I'm launching KDE5 at run level three.
I was very pleased to see that KDE5 runs very lean compared to KDE4; it is light and fast.
