The Detroit Lions' offensive duo of Matthew Stafford and D'Andre Swift is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Stafford has been limited in practice all week with a right thumb injury. The quarterback was listed as questionable, but he's proven capable of playing through an injury for most of his career.

The 32-year-old led the Lions to a thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Chicago Bears last Sunday.

Swift has missed Detroit's last three games. The rookie running back is over the concussion suffered in practice three weeks ago, but he's been battling an illness the past two weeks. The 21-year-old was a full participant in Friday's practice.

The Lions have been relying on veteran back Adrian Peterson in Swift's absence.

The 5-7 Lions are clinging to slim playoff hopes but will have to battle the NFC North-leading Packers without receiver Kenny Golladay and top draft pick Jeff Okudah. Both players have been ruled out for Week 14.
