Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow played every offensive snap of Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers despite suffering a fractured throat in the first quarter, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport later characterized the injury as a laryngeal fracture, and the Lions are consulting specialists, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

Ragnow's breathing is fine but he isn't supposed to talk, Birkett adds.

The 24-year-old reached out to quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Chase Daniel after suffering the injury during the game versus the Packers, letting them know he could not talk.

"He didn't complain about it one bit. He just did his job. Pretty impressive," Daniel said Wednesday, per Birkett.

Ragnow has yet to miss an offensive snap this season but was absent from Wednesday's practice. The 2018 first-round pick hasn't allowed a sack through 13 starts in 2020.

Detroit is scheduled to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
