Man dies after industrial rescue call at Taylor Steel in Stoney Creek
A man, believed to be in his 30s, has died, police have confirmed, after being transported to hospital in life-threatening condition by Hamilton paramedics answering a call for an industrial rescue at Taylor Steel, with patient vital signs absent," on Thursday.
Supt. Dave Thompson, with the Hamilton paramedics service, said they responded to Taylor Steel just after 2:20 p.m. and began resuscitative efforts."
Const. Jerome Stewart confirmed that police also attended and were assisting the medics. He confirmed the victim was a man.
Staff Sgt. Andrea Richard confirmed that the man had later died.
She added that the Ministry of Labour is handling the case.
Taylor Steel is located at 477 Arvin Ave. in Stoney Creek.
