2 computers..#1..k3b #2..OS install

#1...Dell desktop Inspiron 530 with 16.04 installed. I have burned discs numerous times and I want to burn a video which I've bookmarked previously.
Opened k3b and dragged the video to the proper place and dropped it there. It
would even translate it to english. Now I drag it but it won't drop. What am I doing wrong?
#2..I recently got a refurbished Dell Optiplex 3010 with 18.04 installed. I am
not satisfied with 18.04. I want to go back to 16.04 which I'm more familiar with.
I put the install disc in the open tray, turn power on and the tray closes and the unit starts loading but the 2 icons that are supposed to come up on the bottom center 0f the screen do not come up. Is there some other way to install a system?
