by p4c0l0c0 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5BVBG)
Hello,
Thanks for considering my 1st post.
Issue = 64bit hardware on a LG-k5 Smart Phone but they (Boost)
loaded & shipped 32bit Android OS.
Why? (my guess $$$)
I need need to put a Non-rooted version of ANY linux on this hand held.
I have been laid off. This this the only device I have left & CanNot attempt to root/brick this box!
I am not a newbie... Network Egineer by trade. Just having some troubles...
Sorry, my 1st post & have not created a profile yet, I know what follows belongs there & promise to put it there, please endolg me?
Resume:
Network: Cisco /Juniper / OpenSoure
OpSys: SantaCruz, SunOS/Solris,
Redhat/CentOS/Fedoria
Debian & some of her friends...
All my attements...
..andronix, useland, Anlinux & others...
want to push 64bit code to a 32bit OS running on 64bit hardware.
Most eventualy pull up termux/proot & have me paste a config/compile script. All end with their version of termination code, pointing to the opening issue.
Any help would be great!
Thank you in advane.
