Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins took a page out of Allen Iverson's book and reminded critics that practice isn't the same as the game.

Hopkins has been scrutinized over the course of the season due to his limited practice habits and taking days off.

The 28-year-old receiver didn't hold back when addressing the concerns Wednesday.

"You know, for those people who don't understand, and who just watch. There's a reason that I play football and they watch," Hopkins said.

Hopkins even offered to be a guest on local media outlets, although for a price, stating "I charge to come on shows but I give a discount to come on the show for those people."

While the wideout may be limiting his practice appearances, Hopkins has made a big impact when it matters during his first season with the Cardinals. The former Houston Texans pass-catcher leads the league with 1324 receiving yards.

"And tell those people who say I don't practice to come watch me play the game," Hopkins added, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.
