Kdenlive (Current) x264 and x265 rendering

In Kdenlive in -current libx264 and libx265 are missing. In my attempts to cover the bases:
Recompiled ffmpeg with patent encumbered features enabled. Installed ponce's x264 and x265. Lastly recompiled kdenlive. No dice.
Anything obvious I'm missing?
