The NFL issued a $250,000 fine to the Baltimore Ravens for their COVID-19 protocol violations, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Baltimore's coronavirus outbreak in November forced the NFL to postpone its AFC North showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers three times.

The Ravens placed nearly two dozen players on the reserve/COVID-19 list - including reigning MVP Lamar Jackson - over the course of 10 days. The quarterback missed the team's loss to Pittsburgh.

Baltimore suspended strength coach Steve Saunders for failing to report his symptoms and not always wearing a mask.

The NFL previously fined the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans $350,000 each for their protocol violations.

The Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints were docked sixth- and seventh-round picks, respectively, and fined $500,000 each for their violations.
