Calibre 5.8.1 on -current seg fault: qt.qpa.xcb: xcb_shm_create_segment.....
by andrew.46 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5C4SP)
I am running -current up to date on Monday December 28th 2020 and I am having a little trouble running the latest Calibre: 5.8.1 using duganchen's slackbuild for a repackaged binary.
The error from the command line is:
Code:andrew@ilium~$ calibre
qt.qpa.xcb: xcb_shm_create_segment() can't be called for size 17178820624, maximumallowed size is 4294967295
Segmentation faultI have installed alienBob's package which does not show this error so my reading needs are catered for but I am more than a little curious about this error that blocks me using the latest, binary version...
Any thoughts?
