SSH 2FA error: Permission denied (publickey, password).

Hello,

I set up Google authenticator protection for SSHing into my local server using the following tutorial:

https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/configu...2fa#1-overview

I followed all the steps but am now getting a login error. When I SSH into my server, I'm first prompted to enter the password. This is no longer accepted:

Permission denied, please try again.

Upon entering three failed attempts I get the following output:

Permission denied (publickey,password).

Any idea on what may be causing this error? Thanks a lot for your help.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=KQD15g72pnE:-4sHENJXeBI:F7zBnMy latest?i=KQD15g72pnE:-4sHENJXeBI:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=KQD15g72pnE:-4sHENJXeBI:gIN9vFwKQD15g72pnE
