Pulseaudio and the removal of pure-alsa.

After the update that removed pure-alsa I have tried the docs provided in the linke cited by Mr. Volkerding but have had no success.
If I do the modifications described in the link pulseaudio does not start and if I do some modifications I will have pulse and ala apps working but not simultaneously.
Have anyone had success implementing that hint and could share the tweaks necessary?
