Linux Lite update problem?

Hi gang;
I am using Linuxlite 5.2 x64 on a laptop and a desktop. I have never in my history of using this distro (first use 3.8) have gone more than a day or two without receiving a list of updates available when I checked. All of a sudden, for about the last week, I get "Your System is up to date", on both systems. This begs the question, do I have a problem, or has there actually been no updates??
