Thomas will wear special cleats in Week 17, recapping his 16-year career, which features three Pro Bowl appearances, one first-team All-Pro berth, and multiples ACL tear recoveries.
The 2005 14th overall pick out of Georgia has also been honored for his off-field behavior, winning the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2014 and Bart Starr Award in 2016.
"Sometimes things can happen that cause you to feel unworthy, just know that," Davis said. "No man can steal what God had already planned for your life! I'm extremely blessed and thankful for every opportunity that I've earned because nothing is ever given to you! You work your butt off and you pray that God's plan aligns with yours!"
The 37-year-old is the Carolina Panthers' all-time leader in tackles. In 13 seasons with the franchise, Davis racked up 1,098 tackles, 28 sacks, and 52 pass breakups.
After leaving the Panthers following the 2018 campaign, Davis had a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Chargers - where he led the team with 112 combined tackles - before joining Washington.
Davis has notched six tackles and one pass breakup through seven appearances this season.
