[SOLVED] Intel server motherboard s875wp1-e can boot linux usb, but can not boot windows usb install

I tested this with 2 usb install programs, Rufus and universal usb installer.

It wont boot a windows install off the usb flash drive, it always gets an error 0xc000000e. I tried multiple USB flash drives.
So what is going on between linux and windows here that causes that behavior? Any ideas?
Is there some setting that needs to be set when writing the usb install for windows?
I tested the install on a different board, and the usb installer boots ok, so its not the usb drive.
In the bios settings, I did notice a hard drive predelay for booting, maybe it needs to be set to a number? info is it delays the hard drive boot startup by X number of microseconds. And this board refers to usb drives as hard drives.
