Mouse stuck

I have been using Pop OS for the past couple of days and it is running great. However, once in a while, the mouse gets stuck and the mouse pointer doesn't move and I can't click on anything with the mouse.
When it happened last time, I ran the dmesg command and I saw the following entries.
[78575.808008] usb 2-1.2: reset low-speed USB device number 4 using ehci-pci
[81012.289121] usb 1-1.3: reset full-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci
Does anyone know how to address this issue?
