The Baltimore Ravens and cornerback Jimmy Smith have agreed to a one-year contract extension, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports, citing Smith's agent.

Smith's deal is worth up to $5 million.

The Colorado product tested free agency last offseason before returning to the Ravens on a one-year deal for the 2020 campaign.

Smith has accumulated 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a pass deflection through 11 games this season.

The 32-year-old was the Ravens' first-round selection in the 2011 NFL Draft. Smith has spent 10 seasons with the club.

Baltimore continues to invest in its secondary by keeping Smith around for another year. The team also inked cornerback Marlon Humphrey to a five-year contract extension in October.

The Ravens face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and can clinch a playoff berth with a win.
