McVay unsure if Goff will be ready for wild-card matchup vs. Seahawks
Sean McVay doesn't know who will be under center for the Los Angeles Rams against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday.
The head coach said he's "not sure" whether quarterback Jared Goff will be available to play in the first round of the playoffs next week, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.
Goff was sidelined for Sunday's 18-7 win over the Arizona Cardinals due to a thumb injury he suffered against the Seahawks in Week 16.
McVay added he's also undecided on whether or not John Wolford will draw his second consecutive start.
Wolford completed 22 of 38 pass attempts for 231 yards against one interception versus the Cardinals.
The 25-year-old, who made his first career start Sunday, said he's going to prepare for next week regardless of Goff's status.
"I'm here to do a job, and I have no idea where he's at," Wolford said, per Greg Beacham of The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to enjoy this win, and then I'll put my head down and work on Seattle."
