The NFL's hottest head coaching candidate is already receiving a ton of interest.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is virtually interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions on Monday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The New York Jets also requested to meet with Bieniemy regarding their head coaching vacancy, added Schefter.

Bieniemy entered last offseason as one of the favorites to land a head coaching job but was surprisingly passed over by the entire league.

The 51-year-old received widespread praise for his role in turning the Chiefs' offense into a juggernaut and particularly his work with former MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Bieniemy has been Kansas City's offensive coordinator since 2018 after acting as the running backs coach for the previous five seasons.

Under his and head coach Andy Reid's guidance, the Chiefs finished first in scoring in 2018 (35.3 points per game), fifth in 2019 (28.2), and sixth this year (29.6). The unit also starred on the Chiefs' way to a Super Bowl win last season, averaging 39 points.

The Falcons fired head coach Dan Quinn and the Lions parted ways with Matt Patricia during the season, while the Jets canned Adam Gase on Sunday.
