[SOLVED] How to resolve this rsync error: Unknown --usermap name on receiver: root.apache?

I would like to send files from the X server to Y. In X they are owned by root.root, but in Y, I want them to arrive as root.apache, however, by running 'rsync -av -og --chown=root:apache ... ', returns: Unknown --usermap name on receiver: root.apache
