The pickup truck had rolled over, ending up in a ditch. Its windows were shattered, with door handles and tail lights ripped off by the force of the crash.

Four people had been inside the truck when it flew off the road in Norfolk County Wednesday night.

But by the time the police got there, the heavily damaged truck and all four crash victims had vanished.

The pickup truck was pulled from the ditch and left the scene prior to police arrival," said Norfolk OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk.

It is unknown if there are any injuries associated to this collision and officers would like to speak to the driver or occupants in order to check on their well-being."

Sanchuk said a passerby called 911 just after 9 p.m. to report the single-vehicle crash on County Road 30 between Plowman's Line and Vanderhoeven Side Road, a rural area southwest of Courtland.

Police described the truck as a blue Chevy Silverado, 2008 to 2010 model.

Sanchuk asked those involved in the collision, or anyone who has seen a pickup truck with extensive body damage," to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
