I am using Slackware Linux 14.2 (64-bit),and I have recently discovered that some of the software packages that I am using require the most recent version of it in order to function properly. I tried to do the update myself, and the result was that my keyboard and mouse were locked up to the point where couldn't use them for anything, the end result was that I had to re install the operating system from scratch in order to get any use out of it, which brings me to the question of how do I correctly go about updating glib without my keyboard and mouse being disabled in the process?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=xBAO5GDjjik:V24ymsCmUXw:F7zBnMy latest?i=xBAO5GDjjik:V24ymsCmUXw:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=xBAO5GDjjik:V24ymsCmUXw:gIN9vFwxBAO5GDjjik
