[SOLVED] Ubuntu 20.04 blocking Google signin

Fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04, fresh install of Chrome. Cannot get past the "email or phone" screen.

Yes this is an Ubuntu issue as I have tried the default web browser pre-install with Ubuntu, Firefox, I have tried Chrome, and Chromium, plus I went into settings, online accounts, google and the issue is still present.

I have disabled Gnome keyring and rebooted, I have no extensions running in Chrome, Firefox, or Chromium.

The only thread I could find from support.google.com/chrome states to disable/enable sync, I cannot even get to that point as I can't sign in to enable sync in the first place. They also mentioned disabling addons, but well dont have them installed yet so that is not the issue.

Also the Help, Privacy, and Terms links at the bottom of the sign in page are not working.

I also whitelisted accounts.google.com in my Pi-Hole. that has not helped either.

I'm at a loss, asking for help.

Chrome vs: 87.0.4280.141 Official build 64-bit
uname: 5.8.0-36-generic #40~20.04.1Ubuntu SMP

edit to add: I disabled pi-hole and retried to login, also resinstalled chrome, no luck their either.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=va3K6aFXEoI:YZl9xkNMvPA:F7zBnMy latest?i=va3K6aFXEoI:YZl9xkNMvPA:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=va3K6aFXEoI:YZl9xkNMvPA:gIN9vFwva3K6aFXEoI
