Android VB - app missing from playstore

I've installed an android VB (Oracle VirtualBox).
The issue is that the app I'm interested in (my bank's) isn't showing up the VB android's playstore.
Two workarounds which I can think of are:
1. Sideload the apk into the android VB. How can this be done?.
2. Check why the app isn't showing up in VB playstore. Perhaps the android VB isn't recognized as a device with a camera or a SIM so it's filtered out by the playstore. Needless to say the app does show up on my phone's playstore. So:
- how can I check what the app requires in order to be displayed in the playstore (camera/sim/etc)?
- how can I enable these features in the android VB so the would be visible in its playstore?
