Deadly weekend fire in Brantford deemed accidental

A fire that killed a 58-year-old woman in Brantford on Saturday has been deemed accidental.
Brantford Police major crime unit, Brantford Fire and the Office of the Fire Marshal investigated the fatal blaze on White Owl Crescent on Jan. 16 around 11:15 a.m.
Police said that investigation is concluded and fire was deemed accidental.
The 58-year-old woman died from smoke inhalation, police said. She was the sole occupant in the home.
Her name is not being released, out of respect for the family."
