Help with deleting directory in root created by Wine
by Kardos from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5D25X)
Hello, this is a very random question. I installed Wine and entered the "winecfg" command in terminal. It worked, but I thought it gave an error about permissions for something. At any rate, I then entered "sudo winecfg". Well, I now realize that it created a directory called "Desktop" within my root folder (/root/Desktop).
I just wanted to delete it since it is just an empty garbage directory. When I open the root folder as root, it opens up in Nemo file manager, but deleting and move to trash are grayed out. Within terminal, I ran commands to remove, but it doesn't work. There has to be a way to remove if it was created, right? Screen shot of bash commands trying to remove:https://postimg.cc/zHnSy93f
