OPP identify driver killed in Norfolk crash

Police have identified a Haldimand County man as the victim in fatal collision in Norfolk on Sunday afternoon.

Frank Miles Van Hee, 63, was the lone driver in the single-car collision.

On Sunday, Jan. 23, just before 1:40 p.m., police say a car headed west on Windham Road 9 veered into a ditch, struck some trees and rolled over.

The driver died at the scene.

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to everyone affected by the tragedy - to all family and friends of the deceased, and to all first responders," Norfolk OPP Cst. Ed Sanchuk said following the crash.

Windham Road 9 between Bakers Line and Nixon Road was closed for about five hours while OPP collision investigators were on the scene.
