[SOLVED] Linux kernel 5.10 EOL dec 2022.
by deNiro from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DFXD)
The latest Linux 5.10 "LTS" is now EOL dec 2022. <-- EDIT: No it is probably supported much longer then that
I am not using Slackware current, since I stick to stable, but this is an unpleasant surprise. This will affect a lot of parties. It might be a signal to companies to bring some extra cash to the table. But if this is final it will mean a lot of rescheduling for a lot of people.
I really hope that the next Slackware release will revert to 5.4, with perhaps 5.10 in pasture. The 5.4 kernel has at least an EOL dec2025. Not cool.
