[SOLVED] SARPI4 kernel with slackware current - then slackpkg upgrade-all fails
by vovim from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DG2A)
Hi everyone,
I have a raspberry pi 4 with 8GB ram and I spent six hours yesterday evening and night upgrading my kernel and boot firmware etc using the 28th January downloads from the SARPI site and then doing a slackpkg upgrade-all. I then rebooted and was met with errors.
On booting up I had the following errors. The below was the last part of the boot up sequence that I could see on the screen. There may have been earlier errors but I don't know. :

Can anyone help with these two problems please ?
I am hoping that someone can help me to sort out this problem without having to resort to doing a restore from my backup (that I luckily took just before doing the upgrades).
If slackpkg does not work with SARPI and current then should I just take the slackware current as a snapshot and not try to upgrade it ?
Thank You.
