How can I change from the radeon driver to the amdgpu driver in current? How relevant is the ArchWiki article? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMDGPU

I get to the part Code:Make sure modconf is in the the HOOKS array in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and regenerate the initramfs. but don't have the Code:mkinitcpio.conf file on my system.

Some other articles suggested passing on kernel parameters as the new method but adding Code:append="radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1" to lilo.conf had no effect.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=jyBJ3IQpmz0:o3iO8GCrU3s:F7zBnMy latest?i=jyBJ3IQpmz0:o3iO8GCrU3s:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=jyBJ3IQpmz0:o3iO8GCrU3s:gIN9vFwjyBJ3IQpmz0
