Lime Ridge Mall closed after early morning police investigation
The parking lot at Lime Ridge Mall remains closed Monday morning for a police investigation.
Hamilton police were called to the shopping centre parking lot just before 5 a.m. for a person in crisis, said Const. Jerome Stewart.
That situation was safely resolved before 8 a.m. when the person was apprehended, he said. He was not hurt.
Police continue to investigate a vehicle and remain on scene.
The parking lot was partially opened temporarily, but has since closed again. There is no access to the mall.
Police also closed a stretch of Upper Wentworth Street parallel to the mall, between to Kingfisher Drive and Education Court.
