Terminal is painfully slow on installing Open-JDK

I'm using a dell latitude e6410 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and I went to the terminal to install Open-JDK I followed this websites guide https://linoxide.com/ubuntu-how-to/i...-ubuntu-20-04/ but the loading bar in the terminal is stuck at 2 percent
