Report: Sammy Watkins, Antonio Brown expected to play Super Bowl LV
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Kansas City Chiefs wideout Sammy Watkins are expected to play in Super Bowl LV, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Brown and Watkins were officially listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game due to injuries, despite both being full participants in Friday's practices.
Brown missed his team's NFC title game against the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago because of a knee injury. He's amassed three catches for 59 yards and one touchdown through two playoff games this year.
Watkins hasn't played since Week 16 due to a calf injury. He racked up 421 yards and four scores on 37 receptions through 10 regular-season appearances this season.
Brown and Watkins are important weapons on two of the NFL's deadliest receiving corps. The Chiefs and Buccaneers ranked first and second, respectively, in total passing yards during the regular season.
