Browns' Stefanski named Coach of the Year

Cleveland Browns bench boss Kevin Stefanski claimed the Coach of the Year award at the NFL Honors show Saturday.

In his first year in Cleveland, Stefanski led the Browns to an 11-5 record. It was their first winning campaign since 2007.

He also helped the Browns break their 17-season playoff drought and clinch their first postseason victory since the 1994 campaign.

The 38-year-old is the first Browns head coach to take home the award since Forrest Gregg in 1976. The Baltimore Ravens' John Harbaugh was named Coach of the Year in 2019.

Stefanski joined the Browns after spending the previous 14 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. He worked with the Vikings in multiple capacities, including offensive coordinator in 2019.
