Problems getting Fail2Ban running on Fedora Server 33

I upgraded from Fedora Server 32 to 33 and now I can't get Fail2ban working. I've removed the package and config files, reinstalled using several tutorials and it still won't work.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to start?
