Smart TV Screen

Using TV for monitor with a Lenovo ThinkCentre computer.
Display changed from full screen to about 80% (blank black space on one side). Date, time and sound icons are gone from right side of bar at the bottom of the screen too!
What happened and how/where do I fix it from Linux mint menu?
