Kontact, KOrganizer don't work after upgrading to opensuse Leap 15.2,

I finally ditched MacOS and iPhone last year. This was my third attempt to move to Linux (previous one was about 2010). It has gone better than I expected.
But I just upgraded from Leap 15.1 to Leap 15.2. It was relatively painless, but several KDE apps no longer work. I guess this is where I have to start delving into detailed files. Where can I find a troubleshooting guide?
And how do I access the source code? What language is it in?
