Mouse pointer not responding to trackpad on MacBook Air 2019. This is happening on Garuda Linux,

I booted Garuda on my MacBook Air 2019, I followed the guide, I allowed enough storage. When I loaded it for the first time, the cursor is not responding at all to trackpad movements, I cannot do anything on the machine let alone begin the installation process. Please help with this!
