How to know that a thread was submitted, approved or rejected.

Hi buddies!
Last night I tried to submit my first thread at Slackware forum.
When pushed button to submit, I received a warning saying that my post wold be subject of moderation. Today I couldn't find that post at the forum.
My question is: how could we know for sure if the post was submitted and if it was approved or rejected.
I just don't wanna spam or disturb the forum moderators unnecessarily.
