udevd timeout at boot
by practor from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5EKWB)
Wondering if anyone has seen this issue before as my research has only come up with systemd related issues.
At boot, there is a delay waiting for udev and it eventually times out, I get the message below, and boot continues as normal:
udevd[209]: timeout, giving up waiting for workers to finish
I'm currently tracking current and am on kernel 5.10.15, but I get the same with 5.10.18. This is on a 2013 Macbook Air. My 8th generation i7 NUC, also on current, does not have the issue.
Would be grateful for any ideas. Thanks.
