Install Slackware from first disk only

If I have only one CD (not a DVD), is it possible to install Slackware from its first install disk only ( slackware-14.2-install-d1.iso ), available at https://mirrors.slackware.com/slackw...ware-14.2-iso/

Can I install essential basic packages from this first disk and then connect to network to download and install further packages?

(Second question) Also Can I use slpkg or slapt-get to download and install only some packages (with their dependencies), rather than full Slackaware, after installing basic packages from first install disk?

Thanks for your insight.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=Pq2xCT-bPa8:8R5xR1YMTyo:F7zBnMy latest?i=Pq2xCT-bPa8:8R5xR1YMTyo:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=Pq2xCT-bPa8:8R5xR1YMTyo:gIN9vFwPq2xCT-bPa8
