Take payments in banks or Paypal or..?
by rblampain from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5ETNZ)
What are the options available to receive payments in many currencies when such payments need mostly to be kept (after cost) in the currency in which they are made and spent in that currency?
Banks and payment processors regularly offer multi currency accounts but it is very difficult to find how they work in detail and unwanted/unexpected conversions could be very expensive.
The intention is to have payments collected in one country (likely Australia) and the funds kept there until financial institution accounts can be open in the countries where the payments originated or international transactions become more user-friendly.
It seems that payment processors may be ahead of banks in the evolution of small international transactions but this may be an incorrect assumption.
Willing to pay for advice but who can give qualified independent advice on such topic?
Thank you for your help.
