Advice on getting Win 10 out of dual-boot
by nomoms from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5F3B3)
I have an HP Slimline desktop that I want to get Win 10 off of completely. The drive that W10 is on is a 500 GB mechanical HDD that is a very poor performer. What I will be trying to do is take the Manjaro SSD out of the machine, then repair the W10 boot so that the machine will boot into Windows, then remove the W10 HDD and reinstall the SSD w/Manjaro so that it will be a Linux only box.
What are the "tiger traps" I could fall into?
I know that backing up both the W10 installation and the Linux installation is the starting point.
