x11vnc not working on slackware current auth guess: failed for display='unset'

I've recently upgraded to Slackware Current and am trying to get my favorite tools running thereunder. I've used x11vnc (Karl Runge) for years and I love it. I've finally got it built under 'Current', but it's not running. I get:
