RHEL "free" for up to 16 servers - how?
by taylorkh from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5F731)
With the demise (or change) of CentOS as we know it there was an announcement that RHEL 8 could be used on up to 16 production servers free of charge (and of course free of Red Hat support.) I have been using CentOS on my home workstation, a few of other PCs and a couple of home data servers for many years. I suspect that I should be able to use RHEL 8 without a support contract for these purposes. My question is... How?
I have a Red Hat account from when I took a Red Hat Academy course several years ago. I can still login to redhat.com with the credentials. I have wandered about on the web site but I have not found a clue as to how to take advantage of the 16 free offer. Has anyone done this?
TIA,
Ken
